Who I am

This website is operated by Brian Penney, doing business as Penney Properties, 7486 La Jolla Blvd #1040, La Jolla, CA 92037 ("I", "me"). Penney Properties is a name I use personally; it is not a company. This policy explains what I collect through penneyproperties.com and through my calls, texts and emails with property owners, and how I use it.

Information I collect

• What you send me. When you use the contact form, or call, text or email me, I receive what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, property address and message, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
• Technical information. When you submit the form I record the page address and your browser's user-agent string. My hosting provider keeps standard server logs. I do not use advertising pixels, analytics trackers or third-party advertising cookies.
• Public records. I may contact owners using property ownership information from public records and commercial data providers.

How I use information

I use information to respond to you, to discuss buying your property, to keep records of our conversations, to honor requests not to be contacted, to prevent abuse of this website, and to meet legal obligations.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, I will text you only about your property inquiry. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

How I share information

I do not sell or rent personal information. I share it only with service providers that run my website, database, phone and email systems on my behalf (for example, website hosting, database hosting, and telephone and email providers), with professionals involved in a transaction you choose to pursue (such as an escrow or title company), or when required by law.

Retention and security

I keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including recordkeeping and honoring do-not-contact requests. I use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask me to stop contacting you at any time by phone, email, text (reply STOP) or mail. California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I hold about them, and may not be discriminated against for making a request. To make a request, email brian@penneyproperties.com or write to me at the address above. I will verify the request before acting on it.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

I may update this policy and will post the new date above.
